Bill Cosby, Jazz drummer

Before being a comedian, Bill Cosby had plans on being a jazz drummer. Here he is on the the Dick Cavett Show, on February 21, 1973 recounting a hilarious story from his drumming days, where he sat in with Sonny Stitt. Unfortunately for Bill, Stitt decides to play ‘Cherokee’, and then everything goes crazy. In the end, Max Roach ends up saving him.
