Ambidextrous keytar

Wen-Cheng Liang is a self-described “Problem Solver, Brand Strategist and Visual Stylist”, and he’s come up with some really, really interesting that I’m not even sure has a place in this world, an ambidextrous keyboard.

The idea behind the Wen-Chang’s “Ambidextro” keyboard is that it’s a keytar with the double-sided key design that enables the musician to perform with both hands at the same time. With two hands, the musician can presumably play two distinctive sounds in an ergonomic “reach-around” style, to be able to better tickle those ivories. I guess that’s how a keyboard player would compete with a double-necked guitar shredder.

I only wish that I had a video of the thing in action.
